the wave

Jack finally waves.
The date: Monday July 5th...was the official repeated wave. He has waved once...actually it was twice in the past, but they were very spaced out (random good byes) and never to be seen again. Until the other day (Monday) he waved good bye to his friend Conner who was leaving our house and getting into his car with his Mommy (Kylie). And he did it - he waved bye bye!
And yesterday (Wednesday) he waved at least 4 times! So I guess its official. Jack waves! so fun! So late! hehe...but so fun!
To be honest I believed the wave was derived and perfected from the "stinky" wave. One of Jack's favourite games (I am sure a favourite of many babies/toddlers) is "stinky feet". He loves this game and loves to mimic the game and it's what Jack does when he wants to make others laugh...he says "stingy" while waving his little hand sort of close to his nose (so freakin cute). And my guess is because he does this "sinky OR stingy" wave so often...it translated to bye bye! Somehow it clicked for him!
