Oh my little Jack....I hate to say but the potty training..that is no so much happening these days....is all my fault. It truly is a lot of work...in the fact that we have to take off your pants while you are in constant motion, un-tape both sides of your diaper, and then hopefully you haven't let out too much poop....and then get you up on the potty! And the problem is...by the time I get you up on the potty I have interrupted the process and distracted you...cause sitting up there on that big boy potty is kinda fun (some times)! That being said...its a lot of work for no real accomplishment except lots more work for Mommy.
anyway...I see signs of your independence growing and this leads me to believe that it wont be too difficult to potty train you when you are a bit older. And we can use pull ups (already in your closet) and you will be more able to understand what actually it is that Mommy is asking you to do on this potty thing!
We have accomplished Jack peeing and pooping in the shower...so he is slowly coming to understand that these "things" come out of him....I think!
P.S I havent just given up at the moment with the training because it is too much work...but your bowel movements are very inconsistent, which makes for a real struggle. And truly we have too much to do and explore around here and out side that I can not just sit and watch for you to winch and show signs of a poop.
SO...we will try again in a few months.
